Inputting Tournament Results

You will find this is an amazingly simple and quick procedure. There is no typing involved. You will use a series of DROPDOWN menus to make your entries. Your registered competitors/members information will be available from their registration and automatically available to all modules. For sanctioning bodies, your tournaments, divisions and their points schedule will already be archived. The system is smart and knows how to relate these bits of information and how to display them as menu choices,  so there is never a need to type your entries.

If MemberIDs are important to you, note that when competitors/members are added to your datastore, they are automatically assigned a unique MemberID number. You will never have to memorize them again. On the points input page, there is a handy reference table in a DROPDOWN menu format. Here you can scroll through by last name and immediately find any MemberID alongside the member name.

To enter points, just select the tournament, the division, the competitor and then select their placement. All competitors, from any one division, can be entered simultaneously. The potential for Human errors are all but eliminated. If there is ever an error, this is easily and quickly corrected. You simply delete that single competitor entry and re-enter that competitor. Note that before any entry is accepted, it is checked against all previous entries. Double entries are impossible.
