FLORIDA LEAGUE OF MARTIAL ARTISTS

To Whom It May Concern,

Dennis Maltz has been the F.L.M.A. web site master for over a year. Mr. Maltz
has taken our site and created a system for us that enables our points to be entered
by either name or I D number . With this system in place we are able to record our points faster and with more accuracy than ever before, giving our members what they want. He also developed this to be able to cross reference when there is more then one league involved at a tournament so that the points can be checked and sent to the right place . If you are thinking about changing your current system I do recommend this one that we use, for it has revolutionized our site .

Charlie Lane: Points Coordinator F.A.M.E. 2k

After reviewing the "points" system currently used by the Supertour and FLMA, I believe this system should be used and acquired by all circuits. The system is easy to use to track competitor information and has the ability to expand to where it can pay for itself. The key to tracking points is having an easy and safe method to enter competitor data. I believe this system offers that capability.

One additional key element is time. With Excel, Works, or other programs the process is often very time intensive, again, I believe from what I have reviewed on the system, that time is greatly reduced.

If you have any questions, please contact me.

I am very happy with the way the system is currently set up. And, feel that this would definitely be the way to go in years to come.. You have the points posted and available within the week.

As the owner of the school and as the official "point keeper" for our team, this is very important to me. We have competitors in just about every division out there, and we need to see how our kids are stacking up against the others in their respective divisions. I'm sure that you are very much aware of the way other associations keep track of the points and quite honestly, until now, I have never really trusted the way points have been monitored for all of the competitors. I feel very confident with the way this system is running.

I would like to say 'Thank you' to Donna and Dennis Maltz for handling the points for the Florida Super Tour. You don't realize how important this information being up-to-date is - especially with so many tournaments each year. As regular competitors, my children compete in as many as eight divisions in one tournament - and it is a pleasure to know their wins / points will be accurately posted on the website. We have competed on all circuits in Florida, but the SuperTour, by far, has the most well-designed and easiest to use site for checking points - checking by tournament, by division, and by name. Also available is an up-to-date seeding chart for the black belts. If there are any issues, the dispute form is a convenient way to summarize and report details.

None of the other circuits can compare to the 'Points' section on the Florida Super Tour website. Many circuits have failed in this area and tournaments cost competitors too much to have this important area overlooked.

Again Thanks -

I feel that the current method of points system being used is outstanding. Keeping track on this system is very easy to understand and follow. I feel this system should stay in place as it is now.  Great Job !

Thank You,

I think this points system is a great system. We can track our kids and In addition, any time there has been any errors, these have been able to be taken care of promptly. Could not ask for anything better. I hope the Super Tour and the FLMA keep using this, IT IS BETTER THAN ANYBODY ELSE'S OUT THERE, it is a marvel that we can look up tournament per tournament and event of which each competitor has competed in, not just totals.

Thank you very much for your help

I believe that if the points are not taken care of on line, most competitors will drop out of circuits! The job you both do is valuable to our youth! I hope my input as a team parent and coach will help this important endeavor for the upcoming year.
